Refund Policy
Clear cancellation and refund terms for our future subscriptions. Your statutory rights take priority over this policy.

1. Current status
CreatorTech.io does not currently offer paid subscriptions for purchase or collect subscription payments. Free access and complimentary tier assignments do not create refundable payments. This page sets out the policy for a future paid launch; cancellation controls and payment processing are not yet active.
The policy anticipates the new UK subscription protections announced for January 2027. We will check the final legislation and commencement rules before taking payments. The government's August 2026 announcement supersedes the earlier spring 2027 timetable.
2. Stopping a renewal
When subscriptions launch, you may turn off automatic renewal at any time using an online account control or a clear request to the contact details given with your order. We will confirm the request and the date paid access ends. We will not require a phone call, feedback survey or negotiation.
Outside a cooling-off period or other refund entitlement, stopping renewal normally leaves access available until the end of the period already paid for. Unused time or generation allowance alone will not ordinarily earn a refund. This does not limit rights for faults, misdescription, invalid charges, unfair terms or our failure to fulfil the contract.
Uninstalling an app, signing out, removing a project or deleting a payment method is not a reliable way to stop renewal. Use the cancellation route or contact us. If an account-deletion request also clearly asks to end the subscription, we will treat it as a cancellation request rather than require a second form.
3. Initial cooling-off period
For a UK consumer's online service contract, the normal cancellation period ends 14 days after the day the contract is made. Tell us clearly that you want to cancel before the period ends; you do not need a reason. If we have not supplied the required cancellation information, a longer statutory period may apply.
If you expressly ask for a service to start during that period and receive the required information, a proportionate charge for the service actually supplied before cancellation may be due. Otherwise, you are not charged for early supply merely because we started it. Fully performing a service ends the cooling-off right only where the legal requirements, including the necessary request and acknowledgement, are met. See Trading Standards guidance on distance contracts.
Separate digital downloads can have different rules: loss of the cancellation right requires express consent to immediate supply, acknowledgement of that loss, and the required confirmation. Merely agreeing to general terms is insufficient. We will not use a digital-content waiver to remove the cancellation right for an entire ongoing service subscription. Any separate download offer will state its treatment before purchase. See GOV.UK's digital-content cancellation guidance.
4. Renewal cooling-off protection for 2027
For our future consumer subscriptions, we will provide a fresh 14-day cooling-off period following conversion from a free or discounted trial to the regular paid subscription, and following a qualifying renewal into a period of 12 months or more. This does not mean every ordinary monthly renewal creates a new cooling-off period.
A qualifying cancellation can result in a full refund where nothing has been supplied, or a proportionate refund reflecting the part of the renewed supply already provided. We will explain the calculation against the agreed subscription price, not invent an exit penalty or deduct unrelated expenses. Mere use will not automatically remove the renewal cooling-off right.
We will provide the applicable renewal, cooling-off and cancellation confirmation notices in a form you can keep. Missing required notices or other breaches may create additional cancellation and refund rights. The government's implementation response explains these protections. We will apply the final statutory rules, including any stronger rights, when they take effect.
5. Faults, misdescription and incorrect charges
Where consumer service standards apply, a service must be supplied with reasonable care and skill and match binding information given about it. A remedy can include repeat performance without extra cost, or an appropriate price reduction where the legal conditions are met. Other legal remedies may also apply. See Trading Standards guidance on services.
Where the statutory digital-content standards apply, content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for the relevant purpose and as described. Remedies generally begin with repair or replacement where appropriate; an eligible price reduction can be up to the full price. The law also provides remedies for lacking the right to supply content and, in relevant circumstances, damage to your device or other digital content. See Trading Standards guidance on digital content.
Tell us about duplicate, unauthorised or incorrect charges promptly. We will investigate and refund amounts not properly due. You do not lose applicable rights by using a discount, generating content or allowing the ordinary cooling-off period to pass. A disappointing marketing result alone is not proof of a defective tool, but a fault or failure to match an agreed description will be assessed on its facts.
If we end or discontinue a paid service without your breach, we will refund the prepaid unprovided part. Free replacement generation credits may resolve a generation failure, but will not replace a cash refund where the law entitles you to one and you have not freely agreed otherwise.
6. Refund timing and method
A statutory cooling-off refund will be made without undue delay and within the applicable 14-day deadline following notice of cancellation. For a statutory price-reduction refund, the relevant 14-day period runs from agreement that the refund is due. Refunds will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund administration fee. Bank processing may affect when money appears, but does not extend our legal deadline to issue it.
We will explain any lawful proportionate deduction and confirm the amount. We will not make a consumer pay a cancellation penalty, surrender unrelated rights or accept credit in place of an entitled refund. Business purchases do not automatically carry consumer cooling-off rights; the specific offer, this policy's applicable commitments and non-excludable law govern them.
7. How to make a request
At paid launch, the online cancellation route and direct email and postal contacts will appear with your order. For a question now, use our contact form. Include your account email, plan or order reference if one exists, charge date and what you need. Do not send a full card number, access code or password.
You may use any clear cancellation statement. The following wording is optional and is not a requirement to use a particular form:
To: Milan Dhanjee, CreatorTech.io, using the cancellation contact supplied with my order.
I give notice that I cancel my contract for: [subscription or service].
Ordered on: [date].
Consumer name: [name].
Consumer address: [address].
Account email or order reference: [reference].
Date: [date].
Signature: [only if submitted on paper].
Keep a copy of your request. For online cancellation at paid launch, we will provide a durable acknowledgement without delay. If a request is disputed, we will give a reasoned response and explain available complaint and dispute-resolution options; your right to seek advice or approach your payment provider remains.
8. What happens to your work
Renewal cancellation, immediate cooling-off cancellation and deletion of your account can end access on different dates. We will identify the actual end date. Eligible paid uploads normally enter their 60-day retention period when paid access ends, not when you merely turn renewal off. New Free uploads have a 30-day period. This does not promise 60 days of paid features. Export important work and see the Data Collection Policy for deletion and retention details.
